TANAN-HOWO-001
Real Trucks. Real Inspection. Reliable Export To Africa.
We buy, inspect and export used HOWO, Shacman and Sinotruk heavy trucks. Everything we list is a unit we have physically gone over, not a photo copied from someone else's yard.
Real Trucks · Real Inspection · Reliable Export
Used HOWO & Shacman trucks, inspected before you pay.
Every unit is a real truck in our Liangshan yard, photographed on site with a full chassis photo set and a written import verdict for your country — before you commit a dollar.

Real vehicle evidence
Real unit
Every listing is a truck standing on our own yard in Liangshan, photographed by us on site. If we have not physically seen the vehicle, we do not list it.
Full photo set
Each unit carries a complete photograph set — bodywork, chassis, engine bay and tyres — not four bodywork shots copied from someone else's advert.
Written import verdict
We assess every unit against the age, steering and certification rules of your destination market, in writing, before you commit money.
Honest specifications
We publish the specification including what we could not verify. Where a reading cannot be corroborated, it is marked unverified — never guessed.
On the yard now
Real units, photographed by us at our Liangshan yard before anything is tidied up for sale. Each listing carries its own photograph set and a written import verdict for your market.

What each destination country actually requires on vehicle age, steering and certification.
Check your market →What we sell
Our stock is second-hand Chinese heavy trucks: HOWO tippers and tractor units, Shacman F3000 and X3000, and the 8x4 configurations used in mining. These are the models that West African operators already run, which means parts are in the local market and mechanics already know the engines. We do not stock European or Japanese trucks.
Inspection before commitment
What we photograph
The same eight points on every unit: bodywork, cab interior, nameplate, odometer, engine bay, chassis rails, rear axle and tyres.
See the photo set →How we date a unit
We read the nameplate, then cross-check the year character in the 17-character chassis VIN. If the two disagree, the listing says so.
Read the method →What we will not claim
We are not a certified inspection body and we do not issue certificates. We photograph what we see and describe it accurately, including the problems.
Read our limits →Africa markets
Nigeria
Left-hand drive required. The applicable vehicle age limit is not published as a single figure (sources cite 12–15 years) and may differ for commercial trucks vs passenger cars; confirm with a licensed clearing agent. SONCAP documentation applies at Lagos.
Nigeria requirements →Ghana
Used vehicles over 15 years old are prohibited under GSA notice GSA/DGS/PN/26/09 (GS 4510:2022 framework), effective 1 October 2026. Pre-shipment inspection is suspended under GSA notice GSA/DGS/PN/26/11 until a new date is announced.
Ghana requirements →Zambia
Zambia requires right-hand drive under Regulation 19A. Our current stock is left-hand drive, so we do not supply Zambia.
Read the detail →Why buyers work with us
Most used truck listings show you four photographs of the bodywork. That tells you nothing about whether the truck will earn money. We photograph the chassis and engine bay on every unit, and add the odometer and nameplate wherever we can read them, publishing the specification honestly including where a reading could not be verified. If a vehicle has a problem, we say so in the listing rather than let you find it at the port.
What we can do for you
- Quote FOB or CIF to your destination port, with the document list you will need on your side
- Match a model and configuration to the job rather than sell you whatever is on the yard
- Tell you plainly whether a unit meets your country's age and steering rules before you pay
- Supply the photograph and specification set your clearing agent needs
- Say no when we cannot help. We would rather lose an enquiry than take an order we cannot deliver
Import rules differ by market and change without notice. We publish what we have verified, but the final decision on any shipment belongs to your customs authority and your clearing agent. TANAN does not guarantee customs clearance in any market.
Tell us what you are looking for
Send us the model, the configuration and your destination port. If we have a unit we will send photographs and a quote. If we do not, we will tell you that too.
